Mike Hughes

Michael J. Hughes has been practicing in the estate planning and probate areas for over 38 years helping his clients protect those they love. He moved his practice to the firm in 2014.

Mike has been a member of the State Bar of Michigan’s Probate and Estate Planning Section since 1979. Mike joined the Oakland County Bar Association in 1997 and has served two terms as chair of the OCBA’s Probate, Estate and Trust Committee. Mike is a frequent speaker on estate planning topics for the Institute for Continuing Legal Education, the OCBA, and other groups.

Since September of 2011, Mike has served as an adjunct professor teaching estate planning at Western Michigan University, Thomas M. Cooley Law School, Auburn Hills campus. He joined the faculty of Oakland University as an adjunct professor teaching the estate planning and probate administration courses in the Paralegal Program.
